After the North Korea-Brazil match, I was joking that North Korea would probably broadcast the game as a victory to the home audience.
And then I saw this video.

Thank you, dear leader, for always rising to the occasion.

...and the video has been censored already by FIFA, lol. Have you seen "Joint Security Area" or "Tae Guk Gi"?
ReplyDeleteIt's funny you mention it - I actually really want to see Joint Security Area. I saw the trailer a while ago, and it looks so good but it's not on iTunes :( Have you seen "State of Mind?" It's a good documentary about the mass games.
ReplyDeleteYes. My favorite is when one of the girls' parents say, "No wonder the Americans are afraid of us!" :-D
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! NY Times just reported that the Portugal-North Korea match was broadcast LIVE in North Korea!!!

omg, I can't believe it!! Whoever thought that would be a good idea is going to be in serious trouble. That game was painful! The worst was when the camera cut to the 3 North Korean fans soaking in the stands. I *almost* felt sorry for them :p
ReplyDeleteAmazingly, the entire match was shown on live DPRK TV...no "technical difficulties".
